"The Aorangi Ski Club wishes to endorse your product...The extreme weather conditions experienced on the mountain where the lodges are located at above 1400 metres altitude has been a good test for your product.  The PVCu windows have been exposed to extreme cold, ice, snow, very high wind, extreme heat and high uV conditions due to the altitude and snow.  The windows we installed are double glazed and tinted.  There were no problems with installation and they have impressed all visitors to our lodges with their smart appearance and solid construction.  The windows are draft proof and insulate extremely well.  The PVCu frames do not conduct the cold temperature from the outside and therefore there is no condensation formed on the inside of the frames.  Similarly the double glazing prevents condensation problems with the glass...the other advantage with these windows is that they do not require painting or any maintenance.  We have now had the majority of these windows installed since 1995 and they still look as good as the day they were installed.  We have found the management and staff at EPC very helpful and considerate when dealing with us over many years.  We have never regretted purchasing this product and recommend it."

After researching the options, I decided to go with Thermalframe to replace my old wood-frame windows.  Not only do they look great, particularly since I have an older house where aluminium windows just wouldn’t quite look right, but there has been noise reduction with the double glazing, it is noticeably warmer, completely draught-free and there hasn’t been any condensation at all, even through a particularly nasty winter as well as being so much more secure.  The installation was a breeze and after obtaining several quotes, Thermalframe was actually the least expensive. I would highly recommend these windows to anyone!!

The windows are fantastic.  They have cut down the wind noise significantly, and as we are in a windy part of Wellington that has been a great benefit we didn't first expect.  What we did want was the better insulation and heat retention during winter, and the new Thermalframe double glazed windows have certainly helped a lot.  Our winter heating bill this year has been a lot lower I am sure.  I have recommended these UPVC windows to others, as when they have come over to see the windows, they have been very impressed.
